• Central Local Schools - Superintendent Search

  This position requires a person to perform the duties of a local school superintendent, including direct supervision of three building principals, an administrative assistant, the director of technology, the director of maintenance, and the school psychologist; and indirect supervision of about seventy-five teachers and about fifty classified staff members.

  The preferred candidate will have valid Ohio Department of Education and Workforce licensure (or equivalent) or be able to demonstrate the ability to obtain proper licensure quickly.

  • Salary is negotiable with a general range of $95,000-$125,000.
  • Deadline to apply is January 10th, 2025.
  • Tentative start date is August 1, 2025.

• Red Cross Blood Drive (Rescheduled)

  Due to the cancelation on December 5th, the Red Cross Blood Drives have been rescheduled for Thursday, January 30th and Monday, March 31st. They will still be in the middle school gym from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
  
  You will have to make a new appointment if you choose to donate in January. Visit the Red Cross website and search for Fairview High School.

• Kindergarten Registration 2025-2026

  The kindergarten registration form for the 2025-2026 school year is now available. If you or if you know of anyone who has a child who will be five (5) years of age on or before September 30th, 2025 that would be interested in kindergarten, please share with them or call the school at 419-658-2511. Thank you!

• Old Trophies Need New Home

  Fairview is seeking one to several people willing to provide a new home for a number of old athletic trophies. Anyone interested in going through any of the boxes should contact Mr. Breyman or Mr. Yunker to make arrangements. They are currently located in the white building just east of the middle school entrance. Interested people have until December 31, 2024 to claim the trophies. This will be done on a first-come first-serve basis.
  
  Currently, the available trophies do not include any trophies prior to 1956 or any OHSAA tournament trophies. School officials are hoping to donate trophies prior to 1956 to the local villages or townships.

• New Website Calendar System

  We have recently changed our public website calendar in an effort to streamline and simplify our calendar systems here at Central Local Schools. We now use Google Calendar throughout our district for our public non-athletic based website events. All of our athletic events are also now managed exclusively through our athletic website fairviewapaches.com which is managed by our Athletic Director Mr. Paul Yunker. These changes have helped us simplify our resource scheduling, improve our organization of district resources, and improve communication.
